The Main Street correspondent found Homestead doing what small towns do best: turning commerce into an excuse to visit each other.

It began at Omayor's food shop, where soup prices had already learned humility and shaxter_323 proposed the oldest known village contract: andesite supply for food supply. By midday, Liiilos was testing prices for magical herbs, getting gentle advice from Omayor and shaxter_323, selling mandrakes like a rare delicacy, and turning one melon slice into a full base tour. Somewhere in the machinery district, Bob the sheep was left in shaxter_323's care, with only mild concern that he might become a robot before the next visit.

The welcome desk stayed busy too. TS4360 arrived asking where the road began, found diamonds, picked a meadow to settle in, asked to see everyone's builds, and later offered to make tea because apparently this server's onboarding process now includes hospitality training. the_b0real made it in as well, greeted by the same cheerful chorus that keeps making Spawn feel less like a lobby and more like a front porch.

By night, the shop district had become a whole civic mood. WildMitchell opened Chateaux de Pine right on the day-5000 promise, SlimiAto stocked an XP shop carefully priced to avoid accidental diamond nonsense, Ronicus showed a boardwalk shop-in-progress, and shaxter_323 started eyeing a bigger plot for a Create guide shop.

There was adventure behind the counters, too: kaestar and Wolfprism turned sparring into a very loud training seminar, then wandered into enough sonic shrieking that Sorune calmly diagnosed the danger as "probably kazoos." kaestar did, in fact, put the Warden down and take its heart, which is a dramatic way to end a shopping day.
