Bindspire Discord

Before you head in

Bindspire is an adults-only Minecraft town. Discord is where it all happens — including the whitelist.

Say hi in #introductions

Who you are, that you are 18 or over, and your exact Minecraft username. That is what gets you whitelisted.

Support

Keep Bindspire running

Two worlds, a daily newspaper, a live map and nightly backups, on hardware that is paid for every month whether anyone chips in or not. Playing is free and always will be. Support is how the place stays.

Boofreon Hey — thanks for even opening this page. That you'd consider it means a lot to me.

Every month

Signing in is the only way a payment can be tied to your profile. A gift given without signing in is just as welcome and carries no profile benefit — we will not guess who paid from a name or an email address.

What changes for you

The frame around Boofreon above is the whole of it.

  • A quiet starfall behind your character and warmer rules on your own profile — and a switch to look like everybody else.
  • Your name on the supporters page, unless you untick it in your settings. Amounts are never shown to anyone.
  • Nothing in game. No items, no ranks, no priority, no say in how the place is run.

Where it goes

Net of fees

Keep the world dependable

Server hardware, hosting, electricity, networking, backups, protection, monitoring, and the quiet reliability work nobody sees.

Build better systems

The website, the world map, the launcher and profile experience, the Discord bot, community tools, modpack work, and server software.

Move good work forward

Testing infrastructure, development tools, commissioned assets, professional development work, and projects that directly improve Bindspire.

"Net" means after Stripe's processing fees, refunds and disputes. Paying for legitimate development work — labour, commissioned assets, infrastructure, professional services — counts as operating and developing Bindspire. This is voluntary support for a private project, not a tax-deductible donation.

How long it lasts

Every month
The presentation lasts as long as the month you paid for. Cancel any time: it stays until that period ends, and cancelling never takes back time already paid for.
Just once
One day per dollar. $5 is 120 hours, $10 is 240, and a second gift adds to whatever is left rather than replacing it.
Both at once
A one-off given while a paid month is running is banked, not burned. It starts counting down when the monthly cover ends.
When it ends
The profile goes back to the standard presentation. Builds, photographs, introduction, rank and history are untouched — there is nothing to lose by stopping.

Common questions

The short version: playing is free, support is optional, and nothing here changes anyone's standing.

What does supporting actually change?

Two things, both cosmetic: your own profile can use the supporter presentation — a quiet starfall behind your character and a warmer accent — and your name can appear on the supporters page if you ask for it. Amounts are never shown. Nothing in game changes, and you can switch the theme off and still support.

Does supporting change how I am treated on the server?

No. Support doesn't affect staff decisions, rules, moderation, suggestions, access, ranks, or anyone's standing in the community. It buys presentation on your own profile and nothing else.

How long does it last?

Monthly support lasts as long as the month you paid for. A one-off gift is one day per dollar — $5 is 120 hours — and a second gift adds to what is left. A one-off given while a paid month is running is banked and starts counting down when the month ends.

Can I cancel monthly support?

Yes, any time, through Stripe's billing portal on your support settings page. Cancelling stops future renewals and keeps the month you have already paid for.

Can I change the monthly amount?

Monthly support comes in $5, $10, $25 and $50. To switch, cancel the current one in the billing portal and start a new one at the amount you like. A one-off contribution is always available too.

Can I give without an account?

Yes, and it is just as welcome — but it carries no profile benefit. A payment we cannot tie to a signed-in account cannot grant one: we will not decide who paid from a name or an email address. If you gave anonymously and want it recognised, ask staff in #help rather than sending the details again.

Is this tax-deductible?

No. This is voluntary support for a private project, not a tax-deductible charitable contribution.

Can completed contributions be refunded?

Completed contributions are generally final, but if something looks like a duplicate, unauthorized, or clearly mistaken payment, reach out in the #help channel on the Bindspire Discord and we'll take a look. A refund reverses the time that payment bought, and nothing else.

Already supporting? Your support settings has the billing portal, your remaining time and the theme switch.
