The Grey Island Went Missing

“Skhl and i got a bit ahead of the event tomorrow and terraformed the entire grey island near spawn”
The grey island near spawn entered Friday evening looking like itself. Before midnight, skhl20 and a teammate had terraformed the whole thing.
That was technically getting “a bit ahead” of Build Night. It was also the clearest sign yet that Homestead had stopped waiting for the first community event to begin before behaving like a community event.
Earlier, shaxter_323 was already “making event place for server,” with the working part nearly finished. Across town, Omayor kept bricking the train yard with the materials Shax had left behind. When Shax checked whether anything else was needed, Omayor said the old supply was “still very much being used.” One pile had become two jobs, and by evening the call went out: Build Night would be Sunday, with dirt, stone, and useful blocks requested for the work ahead.
The island photograph arrived later. “legends,” came the review. For one night, that passed as the official planning document.
A Home Above the Cave Lake
Mello___ finally pointed to a prepared patch and answered the question of where home would be. For now, the actual living quarters were in the cave lake underneath. Boofreon admired the spot and immediately began imagining tracks to a future station nearby. A Creeper interrupted the property tour, but not the address.
When the Shovels Arrive
What rises on the transformed island? Which rail-yard corner gets claimed first? Does Mello’s cave lake get its first track?
Bring the newsroom one Build Night photo you want the town to remember.
