The Writing Between the Trees

“this is my town ive been building”
A giant treehouse stood above Homestead while kaestar led simplyknj through a fairy forest, a Create train station, crop farms, a pond, a workshop, and the black tower of Isengard. The tour was still collecting admirers when a different sort of notice reached the Bugle: an anonymous community tip alleged that new graffiti had appeared around Bindspire, with kaestar’s grounds hit hardest.
The tip gave the allegation, not the proof. The Bugle’s review of the surrounding record confirmed the tour and a suspicious dirt pillar that kaestar attributed to skhl20, but it found no photographed mark, quoted message, or witnessed painter. The pillar is therefore a pillar; the graffiti remains an accusation awaiting a good picture. Our working theories—prank, public art, or a sign merchant creating demand—are strictly the newspaper’s own mischief.
What the record did show was a town worth walking through. simplyknj called the build “amazing,” kaestar offered to help make another treehouse, and the tour rolled onward from basement machinery to lighthouse.
THE FARM THAT REFUSED TO BE COMPACT
Earlier overnight, MasonShmason celebrated a smoothly running iron farm, then discovered Spelunkery had turned the expected nuggets into raw iron. The “ultra compact” plan was pronounced dead; a raw-ore generator began taking its place. Homestead engineering survived another encounter with Homestead.
Notes Left on the Wall
- Who can produce the first clear picture of the alleged graffiti? What was actually written near kaestar’s town? Does MasonShmason’s revised farm earn back its compact title?
- Bring the desk a screenshot, a witness, or the name of a suspiciously well-stocked sign shop.
