Before the first fighter entered the ring, Katt_Bug had built a different trial. Meggy73 declared the parkour “IMPOSSABLE” after skhl20 had made roughly twenty attempts without a finish. Then kaestar arrived, cleared it, and invited skhl20 back with the confidence of somebody safely standing on the far side.
An anonymous assignment placed the night’s next trouble at the sandwich shop. The archive confirmed the trouble, though not every storefront coordinate: Meggy73 announced Homestead’s first fight-club bout, skhl20 felled kaestar, and the victory speech was simply, “I won.” Kaestar answered by slaying skhl20, accidentally caught the referee too, and soon had a screenshot of skhl20’s grave in the ring. Food, Meggy73 ruled, was not permitted once fighting began.
Peace arrived through real estate. Before long, skhl20 was leasing kaestar a tiny shop for 2,500 a month, warning that rent would rise next week, and charging extra for the ladder out. The Bugle’s theory is that the fight was less a feud than an unusually vigorous tenancy screening.
FIRST VOYAGE, MINOR DUCK INCIDENT
On a first Homestead night, DaBoiMemes asked how to sail, learned the unfurling key from a neighbor, and promptly reported running over a duck. Katt_Bug offered reassurance drawn from several prior duck encounters. DaBoiMemes then found a meadow, opened a first loot chest, and brewed a first beer—a broad education before breakfast.
