Server basics

The pack. Homestead runs Cozy Studios’ Homestead pack (currently 1.3.6) on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Fabric — cozy survival with quests, farming, building, exploration, and enough Create machinery to get carried away. Bindspire distributes an approved profile per launcher; see Play.

Claims and chunkloading. Every player can claim land and chunkload it. Claim your base early — it protects your builds while you’re offline.

Voice chat. Proximity voice is built into the pack. If someone waves at you near spawn, they can probably hear you.

Updates. Don’t update mods or the pack yourself. When the server updates, AutoModpack offers a sync when you join — accept it and restart when prompted. That is the one update you should always take. Server updates are announced in Discord and posted under Updates.

Conduct. Bindspire is an 18+ community. The short version of the rules: build, don’t wreck; keep spawn and shared spaces respectful; settle disputes with words, not TNT.
