The Warship Survey

“we have questions from the behalf of the goverment”

The railway surveyor’s journal began with an unusual knock at WildMitchell’s vineyard: skhl20, Boofreon, and Ronicus had arrived by warship to ask where the trains ought to go.

The answer took a little negotiating. A station in the grapes threatened the tranquil mood; a stop near the ferry loop promised customers and, more importantly, an excuse for a fine bridge from the château. By the time WildMitchell declared, “I ain’t moving,” everyone had already found the route around him. The warship reclaimed its crew, the vineyard kept its peace, and the future railway gained a willing neighbor.

The survey rolled onward. Superglitch55 accepted a rebuilt connection through his land, while Wolfprism offered space for a station large enough to make “over here” a wonderfully ambitious unit of measurement. Then the pencils gave way to drills. Wolfprism made machinery, Omayor supplied andesite, shaxter_323 brought more drills, and SlimiAto helped turn the excavated ground into a broad, flat promise. Boofreon could already see the railyard, bank, and town hall where the mountain had been.

Overnight, the plan began making room for new neighbors. shaxter_323 toured BendableStraw through the shops and Create guide, handed Grizzzlyplayz347 first equipment after an unexpected tree arrival, and sent both newcomers out with directions, warnings, and “have fun.” By morning, when skullergeist mentioned a mountain of deepslate waiting on hoppers, the same guide became a house call: four fans, one fast bulk smelter, and a delighted “that’s so cool!!”

Tickets for Tomorrow

  • Will the railyard get its first tracks? Does the château bridge reach the ferry loop? Where will the newcomers put down roots?
  • Pitch the paper a station name worth painting on a sign.
