A Duck in First Class

“this rail line is going to be nuts one of these days”

The village historian knew the railway had become real when a duck climbed aboard.

By then, Superglitch55 had spent days turning the Hogwarts Express from a red-and-gold shell into a proper traveling room: luggage racks, a folding table, passenger cars, and enough seats for a small town. WildMitchell had supplied clay and cocoa, inspected the carriage, and declared it “royal.” Boofreon settled in to work from one of the seats. When the glue finally held and the train rolled, the duck simply recognized public transport before the rest of us.

The grand train was only half the story. Overnight, skhl20 and Ronicus carried the railway out of its sketchbook and into the ground. A runaway drill was stopped, a mountain became level land, old curves were cleaned up, and the line reached Wolfprism’s base. Wolfprism kept rails coming; when the new yard swallowed a mountain’s worth of dirt, LegoBoy1024 answered with a Create machine that multiplied dirt from gravel. Boofreon contributed what every major civic project needs: emotional support and a corrected warp name.

Far from spawn, BendableStraw and Grizzzlyplayz347 were making their own start in a grotto after a long boat journey. Boofreon arrived with claim advice and a reminder to set home; Ronicus followed with sakura saplings and extra colors. The rails had not reached them yet, but the town already had.

Where the Line Goes Next

  • Will the northern stretch take shape? What sort of station will rise near Wolfprism? And will the duck return with a ticket?
  • Nominate the neighbor who got your build moving yesterday.
