The Frost Armour Trial

Overheard in Homestead

“I love chaos, don't worry.”

A free sample changed hands beside the new rail line, skhl20 began freezing to death, and WildMitchell learned—rather late—that Frost Armour was not protective winterwear.

“I thought it. protect you from frost!?” he protested. By then skhl20 had died, returned, and slain him back. LegoBoy1024 was recruited as judge and found Mitch “guilty, even though he didnt read the full label on the armour.” The defense argued manslaughter; the court issued no sentence, only a verdict. Then the two went back to clearing trees for the railway together.

Watching this on a first night, newcomer JeyAereo was assured Homestead was not normally so chaotic. “I love chaos, don't worry,” came the reply. The town may not have a written frost-poison code, but it had already made room at the witness bench.

A Cake Passes Inspection

At MaisDelícia, 4hrtz took shaxter_323 through the machinery: chocolate and cake base from one contraption, pies by another route, sweet rolls after that. Gaps near the hot equipment earned a request for copycat plates or warning signs; a missing sink was hurried into place. Then came the chocolate cake.

“i'm just too proud and happy about the machines i built,” 4hrtz said. The inspector's answer: “congrats my friend, you passed inspection.” A first order followed—four chocolate-glazed berries. By afternoon, MaisDelícia had a passing grade and a customer.

What the Menu Writes Next

  • Does MaisDelícia automate its milk, or does the twenty-seven-bucket method survive? Does Frost Armour gain a warning label? Which dessert becomes the town favorite?
  • Send the newsroom the plate, sign, or small act of repair we should put on tomorrow's page.
