Pillars Out of the Sea

The ocean got its first stone legs before midnight. At one end, WildMitchell fed a schematic cannon; at the other, skhl20 coached a pink-paper blueprint stretching across roughly a hundred chunks. Holding it reduced Wild's world to three frames. One wrong scroll put a copy on the sea floor.
Then the cannon found its rhythm.
The bridge wanted loaded chunks, spruce, stone, moss, and constant attention. Skhl kept the far end in sight and talked Wild through every stubborn setting. When Wild warned of a "serious moss shortage incoming," Omayor answered with nine thousand blocks and switched on a farm that produced thousands more. A week earlier Wild had been digging moss by hand. Now he could only say, "ahhh, this is so efficient."
By overnight, the machine was chewing through stone and zinc, pillars were climbing out of the water, and enough material had arrived to reach the other side. The bridge finally stopped short of a melon farm—a respectable place for municipal planning to resume.
Two Trains, Two Drawing Boards
ggkrisi_ got the iron farm running for a moving-base train, then learned the planned seven-block width would not fit Homestead's five-wide railway. The new plan: shrink the train or give it a line of its own. Dogeisagod, meanwhile, found blueprints and dimensioned photos for N&W 1218, with passenger and freight cars now pencilled in.
