The Night Lava Came to Town

“now this is a train that serves a purpose”
Before dawn, a locomotive rolled out of the Nether with something useful in tow: lava for spawn.
TheArkanite had spent the night finishing the Nether station, wrestling the route through portals, and turning an unfinished railway into the Lava Delivery Network. When the line finally moved, he called, “It’s up and running!” Boofreon, aboard for the inaugural fussing-with-the-train, supplied the verdict above. Soon after, the first delivery reached spawn.
For days Homestead had watched tracks become bridges, stations and promises. Overnight, one of those promises arrived carrying a tank. Lava beat the passengers onto the Nether line, and the main line became public infrastructure with an orange glow.
Apples, Joy, and House-Guests
In the orchard, eroswisteria raised the beginning of a Tudor-style teahouse from pale oak and deepslate. Lezabel arrived with encouragement and a camera; Wolfprism arrived joking about property taxes, then handed over gear and building help. “This is like getting hand-me-downs from older siblings,” Lezabel said. A photograph went up inside before the house was finished. The local economy still accepted apples or joy.
Overnight, Mello___ dug a hundred-block lava pit by repeatedly falling into it—“classic measurment strats”—while B00kWurm worked the crank and timed the layers. When a nearby tank appeared to lose lava, the mystery ended with one shout: “ITS my back pack.” The pump upgrade had quietly been drinking the evidence.
What Wakes Up Next?
- What cargo follows lava onto the railway? Does the orchard teahouse choose a purple awning or a red one? Can Mello’s backpack be trusted near another tank?
- Pitch the newsroom a name for the teahouse before the sign goes up.
