The trailer landed in late afternoon, and Homestead stopped to peer through a door into another world.
The proposition was simple: Prominence II 4.0 as a seasonal neighbour, while Homestead stayed home. 4hrtz immediately checked whether farms and magic had survived the trip. Wolfprism, who had played it before, supplied the warning label: “It’s a hard modpack.” Codeium remembered never quite getting into it the first time, then found the reason to try again: “id love to get into it fully and play with some peeps.”
That was the heart of the conversation. This was not talk of leaving town; it was talk of taking a different road together and coming back recharged. Within minutes, the route had wandered through quests, bosses, Create, spellcraft, maces, cart traps and whether a railgun could turn through 360 degrees. A second home, apparently, requires a weapons-policy meeting before anyone packs socks.
The Locomotive Exists
By evening, TheArkanite had assembled a first train and brought it onto unfinished signals. skhl20 offered the traditional trackside instruction—“wrong side dumb dumb”—before the pair tested a pull-off and watched the locomotive hold its line. The final verdict came without ceremony: “cool to see the train exists now.”
A disconnected southern section also received a public note. Mac_Attack9 answered with admirable railway candour: “Oop forgor to reconnect it.” Repairs, like trains, begin with knowing where the gap is.
The Clayinator
Before dawn, B00kWurm survived the crushing wheels badly enough to appear in chat twice, then announced his first self-designed machine. “It makes clay lmao.”
Mello___ named it “the calyinator,” inspected the double-crusher setup, and called the build clean. By sunrise it had filled half a chest with brick blocks—the first material for a base that still existed mostly in Book’s head.
