The Elk in the River

“ahhhh someone come quick and bring a rope”
The emergency stood in a half-restored stretch of river: one mythical elk, one claim boundary, and simplyknj on shore announcing, “my elk is trapped.” Yesterday the Bugle wondered whether an elk would turn up for the fairy forest. By late afternoon, the answer had antlers and poor footing.
Remilia_Scarlet0 arrived with a lead, crossed into the claim, and hauled the animal back out. The rescue then advanced to its paperwork phase: the elk would not be picked up, shaxter_323 offered the correct maneuver, and the true obstruction proved to be an occupied off hand. A crash briefly interrupted transport, but simplyknj returned, solved the grip problem, and departed with the elk in hand. The newspaper records one successful rescue and no evidence whatsoever for Remilia’s proposed future glue factory.
RAILS, CAVES, AND AN OPEN OFFICE
Earlier, shaxter_323 guided simplyknj through Nether rails, an unfinished open-plan office, a meeting room, and the machinery around the base. The tour soon widened into an underground village visit with Boofreon, where the party found iron, questioned the loot, and treated a cave expedition like a neighborhood open house.
THE RING TAKES SHAPE
Overnight, Remilia_Scarlet0 finished both rings of stone pillars around Nazarick and started the aqueduct itself. The next piece was a vast ring of stairs suspended in the air—less a construction step than a very patient argument with gravity.
