“a new dock and a post office all in the same day”
The rain began precisely as the great bridge was finished and its builders raised the camera. By the next beat, the crossing was declared ready for passenger use. A question this paper printed in August—whether the last gap would finally close—now had its answer in steel, moss, and a route people could ride.
The town kept connecting itself. Soon Keywas shouted, "WE HAVE A NEW DOCK," then admitted it had taken far too long. Three days ago that dock was a horseshoe sketched in conversation, with neighbors standing where shops might go. Overnight it became shoreline. Nearby, Omayor put up the Post Office building; machinery will come later, with mail intended to travel wherever the main rail line reaches. Bridge, dock, post: Homestead turned destinations into a town.
BRICKS, THEN VISITORS
Before dawn, B00kWurm asked for honest eyes on an industrial-revolution factory shell. Meggy73 and Mello___ made the trip, admired the scale and brick palette, and helped settle the first question: the shape worked. B00kWurm returned the favor with a tour of their district and left planning more depth—and eventually a factory full of Create contraptions.
ONE WEEK IN
Elsewhere, simplyknj marked a first full week in Bindspire by thanking everyone for the fun, laughs, and memories already made. The town answered in kind. Some milestones need no advancement chime.
Routes Out of the Rain
Which station receives the Post Office's first delivery? What detail breaks up B00kWurm's factory walls? What vessel first ties up at the new dock?
Send the desk a picture of the route, room, or waterfront that finally came together.
