THE END GETS A PUBLIC UTILITY

“yayyyy it spawned:3”
For several minutes before dawn, Homestead’s newest public works project depended on one tiny endermite agreeing to exist. battlepants_8154 stood in the End, throwing pearls and wondering aloud whether the creatures spawned in this pack at all. Omayor advised persistence. The endermite finally appeared, and the machinery could begin.
An anonymous note tipped the desk that a public Enderman farm had opened, producing experience and pearls at remarkable speed. The archived scene confirmed the useful parts: battlepants_8154 built it, TacticalEchos announced it to town, and the collection chest began filling almost immediately. The screenshot notice also carried an invitation for everyone to help decorate. The Bugle’s working theory is that the End’s zoning board approved the project only after being promised curtains.
Almost on cue, cag6 arrived for their first Homestead morning just minutes after the farm announcement. Later, while searching for a temporary home on a mooshroom island, cag6 asked whether any farms were public—because they did not want to “look stupid” by building a duplicate. TacticalEchos pointed out the public XP farm and spawn workshop, then explained that neighbors often lend tools and equipment. A machine built in the dark became part of somebody’s welcome before breakfast.
Pearls on Tomorrow’s String
- Who adds the first decoration to the End platform? What farm does cag6 build anyway? Where should the next public machine open?
- Show the desk a decorated corner, or nominate the neighbor who made a public machine feel like home.
