ROOM FOR THE BESTIE

“I am honoured that you did”
A buff bear acquired a bestie before the drawing reached #screenshots. Late in the evening, Ronicus posted a portrait of themselves with Omayor, then explained the change of plan: “I just wanted to draw buff bear but it felt wrong to not include bestie.” The picture had started with one subject. Friendship had supplied the second.
Omayor answered in delighted capitals before thanking the artist for including them. Ronicus had said they couldn't sleep; the sleepless evening had produced something a friend could keep. For this arts correspondent, the important compositional decision was easy to spot: somebody had made room for somebody else. No grand unveiling was necessary. The artist posted; the friend saw it; the whole exchange fitted neatly beneath a picture.
A Roof Before the Sorting
In FaeBourne, gingerlmao finished a house by early evening and immediately postponed the storage. Omayor had admired its circles earlier in the day; TheArkanite now praised the roof. The builder was less convinced by the interior and wondered what belonged upstairs, since another bed wasn't needed.
By late evening, the new address had another proposed use: gingerlmao announced a “car show at my plavce,” amid laughter about the discovery and its decidedly un-fantasy appearance. Finished roof, undecided upstairs, impromptu exhibition: the house had become a place to invite people before every corner was sorted.
