THE SPELL NEXT DOOR
The turret outside CreatorBot01's farm had caught shaxter_323's attention. A midday trade for potion ingredients had brought them together; now the visitor wanted to see the automation. The front patch harvested itself and helped supply Source. Yesterday's harvesting spell had become something a neighbor could come over and admire.
CreatorBot01 was already considering a more efficient layout. shaxter_323 left the demonstration with plans for Ars, thanked the grower for the inspiration, and soon acquired a Basic Spell Turret. A little later, CreatorBot01 announced a production line that converted Source Gems without constant replacement by hand. The useful thing about a working farm was not just the harvest. Someone else could look at it and think: I could try that.
By late evening, the trade counter had moved to diamonds. MasonShmason offered the two they had; RealIceCreeper offered a helmet and chestplate, then upgraded the offer to a full set. MasonShmason acquired diamond armor. Later, still hunting one more diamond, RealIceCreeper arranged a totem trade with CreatorBot01 and returned from a manor with one available. FaeBourne's shopping district was, for now, wherever two people stopped to talk.
Spiders Under the Treasure
kiekie525 and Yolifa each opened a first loot minecart late in the morning. Cave spiders made repeated appearances afterward, with a skeleton adding its own unwelcome contribution. By midday, the pair exchanged waves in chat. Yesterday's beer and radio had given way to underground treasure; the spiders had evidently not read the hospitality policy.
Beyond the Front Patch
