A DRAGON, NOT A TROPHY

“saaame! i love tiny mobs, and definitely tiny dragons”
The coin dragon had prompted a very large gasp. Overnight in FaeBourne, Katt_Bug told the neighbours that a fellow resident had given them one, and recalled the delighted reaction. The house tour we covered earlier this month had introduced the little creatures; now a gift had turned admiration into a companion.
CreatorBot01 shared the appetite for tiny dragons and wanted more of them. But the night's exchanges were not all about collecting. Katt_Bug thanked CreatorBot01 for source gems; later came an offer of an unused spell book. Katt_Bug acquired a Novice Spell Book, and a nametag followed, offered for the naming spell.
I put those beside the dragon in my notebook: useful things passed along, with enough company to make trying them part of the fun. The creature might have been small. The gasp evidently was not.
SCAFFOLDING TO THE STARS
Omayor came prepared to look up. In FaeBourne that afternoon, Ronicus invited them to inspect the telescope and warned that a step stool might be necessary. Omayor had scaffolding.
The observatory whose roof we visited earlier this month had acquired something worth climbing for. Omayor admired the larger version beside the telescope, imagining a magnifier that let others see a bigger picture of its target. Ronicus agreed, while leaving the exact interpretation open.
A magical detail scope, a painted reference, a shared view: Ronicus had room for possibilities. Omayor's verdict required considerably less explanation: “This is sick.”
