“thank u ginger”
Four fey altars stood to the left of gingerlmao's house in FaeBourne. Late that night, kaestar asked for an altar, received directions, and returned with thanks after trying a new music disc in a borrowed jukebox. The address was becoming useful to more than its builder.
Earlier, gingerlmao had been fixing the path home and announced a little builders hut containing the Tinkers equipment for other people to use. The house this paper admired on Tuesday now had a shared workshop alongside it. No ceremony, no entrance fee announced: just tools and an invitation to use them. From the path to the crafting stations, this neighborhood correspondent found a place being made easier to visit—and easier to make something in.
A ROOF FOR STARLIGHT
In FaeBourne, Ronicus called Omayor over to inspect the progress from the neighboring base. The verdict arrived before the technical discussion: “It's gorgeous.” Omayor particularly liked the roof's slope; Ronicus explained that the tower would become an observatory.
Glass dome or solid blocks? CretinFreak suggested combining both for an open observatory. Ronicus considered skylights in the house and a classic observatory above, wanting a view of the night sky. The build remained a work in progress, but the conversation had already reached the stars—and the need for a big telescope.
A BED ABOVE THE BRANCHES
xMammaMo arrived in FaeBourne, chose Avian, and wanted to sleep in the skies. kaestar invited the newcomer to build nearby; Meggy73 offered to fly them around to find a spot. A treehouse became the plan. xMammaMo had never made a tree before, but had always wanted to try. By overnight, they had obtained a paraglider. The canopy had a prospective resident.
SKYLIGHTS AND SAPLINGS
- Will Ronicus choose glass for the observatory dome? What tree will xMammaMo build a home in?
