THE HALL WITH ROOM FOR MORE

“both are welcome. more eyes the better”
The bare wall had acquired paintings; the builder was still considering alternatives. Late in FaeBourne, StreamlinerPro invited CreatorBot01 and xMammaMo up the snowy hill west of market to inspect the temple hall. I appreciated a viewing where suggestions were part of the admission.
Yesterday’s spare cobble had become a paladin’s temple/monastery in progress. Another shortage that evening brought a fellow resident’s supplies, followed by repeated offers of more. By late evening, StreamlinerPro reported the exterior done and named the next opponent: “INTERIOR DECORATING.”
The visitors came with more than applause. CreatorBot01 offered spare gold and handed over workbenches for trying different block textures; xMammaMo admired the hall and the proposed pilgrimage routes. Those were plans, not finished roads: little roadside shrines would eventually lead here. The tower, bedroom and kitchen still needed work.
The hall had already managed one useful architectural feat: it gave neighbours somewhere to stop, look, and help decide what came next.
POSTAGE IN A PUMPKIN HAT
An owl appeared near xMammaMo, then vanished again. StreamlinerPro asked whether somebody had sent a courier package. CreatorBot01 confessed: after a difficult owl hunt in FaeBourne, the delivery tests were underway.
Later, Katt_Bug discovered the package too, delighted in the stuffed pumpkin they could display, and noticed the owl’s pumpkin hat matched their own. Collection briefly became less dignified when the bird got stuck on their head. It was freed; thanks followed. A test run had acquired a very appreciative audience.
DUCKS BEFORE THE BREW
In Homestead, Mohaba_KittyCat bred ducks, petted one, and harvested an apple during the morning. By midday came a first beer. A respectable little itinerary, with the duck receiving attention before the brewing did.
