CHEESE AFTER MIDNIGHT

“come jam with us”
The blue cheese music disc was still going. In FaeBourne, Katt_Bug sounded pleasantly surprised by its stamina; I would have given the record extra marks for keeping everyone in the room.
RealIceCreeper recognised café music, Katt_Bug declared a love of chill lo-fi beats, and when Sylphik arrived, the greeting came with an invitation to join them. Ginger-and-spice tea and an ice-cream break accompanied the listening. Nobody had organised the karaoke night they had been discussing earlier, but the evening had already acquired a soundtrack.
It acquired presents, too. Sylphik handed over an Ender Girl spawn egg, to Katt_Bug’s considerable delight. Later, when Sylphik needed blaze rods for Ars gear and explained that the Nether was bad news for a plant-based creature, RealIceCreeper went to fetch them. The thanks arrived with the rods.
By the time the company began discussing a proper playlist, lo-fi, orchestra and hip-hop were all being requested. This music critic approved of an audience that also supplied the errands.
WINGS WITHOUT THE INVOICE
Earlier in FaeBourne, Sylphik’s hunt for a broken wing had produced Ender Girl treasures and a backpackful of pearls, but not the desired drop. RealIceCreeper offered an Elytra instead.
Sylphik received it, then asked to swap out the Mending version rather than waste the enchantment. An offered thank-you gift was declined: “elytra free”. The wings were intended for Ars flight. A long hunt had ended with somebody opening their spare supplies.
THE FOX TOOK THE WHEEL
Katt_Bug had wanted a fox for a mushroom girl to ride in FaeBourne. With RealIceCreeper helping, the experiment became a struggle involving a lead, a fence and an unexpectedly uncooperative passenger arrangement.
The pair wondered whether the fox had taken over the mushroom girl’s behaviour. That was their explanation, not a finding from this paper’s zoology desk. Katt_Bug ultimately declined another fox. Some collection ideas deserved a trial run outside.
