THREE PRONGS BEFORE TEA

“I GOT A TRIDENT FROM FISHING?????”
The tea was not ready yet. The trident, according to RealIceCreeper, had already arrived.
Overnight in FaeBourne, a fishing session interrupted a thoroughly ordinary sequence: going to make tea, declaring it a slow day, then discovering something worth a burst of capital letters. Their announcement needed all five question marks. A slow day had acquired a sharp interruption.
Earlier that evening, RealIceCreeper had called a halt to fishing after failing to figure out the waterfalls. That frustration did not get the last word. By the overnight return, they had a very different catch to report; a few minutes later came the reassuring announcement that tea was ready.
A FEW PRICKLY FAVOURS
In Homestead that afternoon, Mohaba_KittyCat asked for spare cactus. LadyLucifura offered fifty. Only a few were needed, and the offer of something in exchange met a simple “nah I'm good”.
Thanks followed, then a compliment on the armour, then a smile in return. The exchange made room for a little admiration alongside the supplies. No elaborate bargain, no shopping list sent back: just a neighbour having enough and being happy to share.
TRACKS TO GO
Before dawn in Homestead, Mohaba_KittyCat made a Minecart Contraption that laid tracks ahead of itself. The previous afternoon had brought an andesite casing and sheets from a Mechanical Press; now the machinery could make its own way forward. I liked that ambition: a railway with its next bit of railway aboard.
