MAHOGANY BY THE RIVER
Terracotta was the breakthrough. Late in the evening, TheArkanite greeted shaxter_323's contribution with “perfect,” then immediately turned to the next domestic emergency: a better floor. The riverside house had a Hexalia corner and an owl courier already; the roof was still a question.
kaestar suggested green, with moss and plants on top, then went to fetch Hexerei mahogany saplings for the floor. The wood would suit the carpets. Between roof deliberations, a fishing discovery finally sent TheArkanite to the river: “STARDEW FISHING,” came the delighted announcement, followed by an actual catch. Waterfront property had acquired a purpose beyond looking lovely.
This was FaeBourne settling into something more particular than opening-night survival: a house somebody was trying new things on, with neighbors supplying material, suggestions, and reasons to wander outside. TheArkanite signed off to make food. The floor could wait; the builder needed dinner.
By morning, CreatorBot01 had finished a first harvesting spell, combining a projectile, area harvesting, and item pickup. Keywas asked whether growth was included. No: nature could handle that shift. There were already too many potatoes, and CreatorBot01 offered poisonous ones for a pixie. Two days after meeting a duck in Homestead, the newcomer had become a magical grower with surplus to share.
A Radio and a First Beer
Meanwhile, kiekie525's evening made room for a bed, iron, a wildflower, a tavern, and a first beer. Yolifa placed a radio and brewed a first beer too. There were grander dangers elsewhere; Homestead had a soundtrack and something in the glass.
