DIAMONDS ON THE DRAWING BOARD

Worlds: Homestead · FaeBourne
“i got funny idea to mass produce diamond here.”
A water tank sat beside the workshop, shafts stretched between machines, and tall trees stood over the roof. CreatorBot01’s Homestead photograph looked like the beginning of a very practical idea. The accompanying explanation was rather less modest: mass-producing diamonds.
Feeling largely through FaeBourne’s endgame, they had decided to make some progress in Homestead too. By evening, stripped wood had become an andesite casing and a Mechanical Press had made sheets. Overnight brought a rough diamond, a Nether crossing, a looted bastion chest and a blaze rod. These were preparations and discoveries, not proof of a diamond factory already delivering the goods.
There was even beer. Then a Mechanical Saw cut them in half. I had admired the workshop’s promise; I came away respecting its moving parts. The proposed diamond business had an excellent photograph and a compelling reason to watch where one stood.
AN APPLE AFTER THE WERECAT
Kimerah_ arrived wanting to explore, build and meet people. Boofreon welcomed them with an offer of help; TheArkanite added a greeting and explained that company often gathered later in the evening.
FaeBourne supplied a brisk introduction: a loot chest, a hostile monster defeated, powder snow crossed without sinking—and encounters with a pillager and a Werecat that went the other way. After those deaths came an apple harvest. A small, ordinary thing to bring home from an eventful beginning.
SUPPLIES BEFORE THE STARS
Overnight in FaeBourne, Omayor gathered resources for the observatory while unwinding with a video. RealIceCreeper asked whether they had visited the bank, then renewed the invitation before goodnight. Omayor agreed to come by. Building supplies had company on the next-visit list.
AFTER THE PRESS COMES THE PLAN
- What will CreatorBot01’s diamond-production idea become? What will Kimerah_ choose to build?
