ONE CHICKEN PEN LEFT

“I can take you there”
One chicken pen was all RealIceCreeper said remained of Homestead’s old second island as they remembered it. The train station stood there now; overnight, the conversation turned to whether the little cave still existed underneath.
We last encountered that changed island during their return to familiar places. This time, remembering became an offer to show someone around. “this is it,” came the announcement a little later, followed by that question about the cave. A place remembered had become a place to point out.
I would keep the chicken pen in any history of that island. Stations were easy landmarks to explain. Explaining why a chicken pen mattered took someone who remembered the ground before it changed.
POCKETS BEFORE PIPEWORK
In FaeBourne, RealIceCreeper told Katt_Bug to prepare a backpack, then guided the Nether outing with warnings about spotting Ancient Debris and pointers toward chests. Katt_Bug obtained the debris, entered a pipeline and retrieved its hidden treasure.
There was a ceiling chest to point out and encouragement to fill those pockets. An expedition sounded considerably more inviting with someone already looking out for the next good find.
THE MISSING UPSTAIRS
Elsewhere in FaeBourne, xMammaMo reported tearing down the top floor of their house after discovering it was not centred, then laughed about it. Some building days added a room. This one removed an architectural irritation, with rather more rubble.
